Featured projects
-
Touchable Taskbar: a direct touch taskbar with grouping and rich representations displaying state and providing simple interactions. This was the main subject of my human-computer interaction master at Stockholm University with a prototype tested as thesis. -
nimble: agility registrations and results on the web. Natural progression from my old websites and software into a dynamic and user-friendly site for agility enthusiasts. Perpetually being improved behind the scenes and occasionally updated front-side 8-) -
Propellor: weather-based routing for sailing yachts. Trying out algorithms for suggesting routes or areas to go to for a couple of days sailing, without being too gimmicky, which is actually quite hard. Coming up with something that works is rewarding though.
Other projects
-
Pandora AR: overlaying a game in the real world. While a lot of these kind of games have been tried and tested by students and even made it to the app stores, it would still be fun to actually mix the worlds to capture the fun without making it too virtual. -
fizzgig.nl: my own personal blog (a.k.a. the site you are viewing now). I keep this site for the fun of discovering new techniques as far as they apply, since the need for things like WebSockets here are mostly artificial. The site is intended to work with the latest browsers and only completely functions in WebKit browsers. Built in Django, with love.
